As you may already know, I use the Viewsonic 2012WB 20.1" Widescreen LCD monitor at home so it would take a lot for another monitor to impress me. You may also know that I have just started a new job and with new territory comes new… "equipment", of course. Well you will see me reviewing a lot of the equipment that I use at work and one of which is this huge 19 inch Planar PL1910M LCD monitor. I have this monitor standing tall on my desktop (as in desktop computer; we'll get to that later). I don't really know how much these cost because it was already in my cube when I joined... Dell E176FP 17" LCD Display Monitor ReviewPublished on: bayreviews.com
I had been using the Samsung SyncMaster 763 MB 17" CRT (cathode-ray tube) Monitor since I started working for this company of mine (about three years ago), but they had been using it way before I even knew about the company. After so many years, they finally replaced it with this new Dell E176FP 17” LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) monitor. You cannot image how delighted I was to rid my desk of that bulky old box that they call a monitor. Now I have this new thin and sleek LCD to treat my eyes with. This new Dell is much brighter, sharper, lighter, simpler, and not to mention a lot thinner. I now have more room on my desk for more… umm… important things (yeah that’s right). The regular retail price for this monitor is around two hundred dollars, but we actually purchased it with...
ViewSonic 20.1" LCD Monitor ReviewPublished on: bayreviews.com
After so many years of using the big, bulky, and heavy CRT (cathode-ray tube) display monitors for my home computers, I finally treated myself with this brand new ViewSonic VA2012WB 20.1” (20” viewable) Widescreen LCD (liquid crystal display) monitor. The retail price for this LCD is about $450 plus tax, but I got is on sale at Costco Wholesale for $350 plus tax. I think I got a good deal, but some people would say that you can get a better deal if you purchase online. I do not like purchasing such big and high priced items online because of the high shipping cost and the risk of damage during shipping. I have had my eye on this monitor for some months now and I finally convinced my wife that I really needed this monitor to save space on my desk...
ViewSonic E70 17" CRT Monitor ReviewPublished on: bayreviews.com
A year or two ago I used to have a ViewSonic E70 17” monitor that I got from my sisters work when they were getting rid of it. I got it because it was a ViewSonic and at that time I only had a 15” monitor that was getting ready to kick the bucket. I have no idea how much my sisters company paid for this but I can only guess it would have been anywhere from $150 to $250 (maybe even more) back then. I checked the price right now and the cheapest is $120. I had used this monitor for almost a year until I replaced that with one that I bought from craigslist.com for $30; it is a NEC 19” (this NEC is so old that I cannot find it anywhere so I cannot write a review on it) but not as good...
Samsung SyncMaster 714V 19" LCD Monitor ReviewPublished on: bayreviews.com
My boss finally decided to retire our old CRT monitors and upgrade to the new LCD's (this Samsung SyncMaster 714V 19" LCD Monitor) when he saw a great deal on one of the weekly ads from Circuit City last week (yes the thanksgiving weekend). I set it up on Friday and was amazed at the picture quality and the bright and crystal clear display. My boss said that he paid about $200 for each after a couple instant and mail-in rebates... Samsung SyncMaster 763MB 17" CRT Monitor ReviewPublished on: bayreviews.com
In my office there are two computers, and the one I use has this Samsung SyncMaster 763MB monitor. I have no idea how much the company paid for this but I can only guess it would have been anywhere from $200 to $300 back then. I have been using this computer for almost two years now and this monitor has not kicked the bucket yet. And with a name like Samsung one can not expect... READ THE FULL REVIEW! Samsung 213T LCD Display ReviewPublished on: xyzcomputing.com "This review will be taking a look at Samsung's 213T LCD display. A 21.3" LCD would have been priced beyond the reach of all but professional users two or three years ago, but today they have dropped to a much more attainable price. They are still too pricey for some consumers but depending on your needs and financial priorities you may be interested in upgrading. Given the price drops and increased availability, large-sized LCDs are not just for professionals any more." Budget LCD RoundupPublished on: firingsquad.com Reviews for the following models: Dell 1703fp, NEC LCD1770nx, Planar pl1700, Samsung 172x, 710n, 915, Viewsonic ve175, vg710 Samsung SyncMaster 920T LCD DisplayPublished on: ipkonfig.com
"Samsung's latest LCD monitor brings a bit more to the table with its thousand-to-one contrast ratio, and as always, its ease of use. Samsung's LCD monitors are seen more on the net and on shelves of our popular computer stores everywhere. They always sport quality and appearance like no other, and always have a beautiful picture."
