Seagate Momentus 5400 PSD Hybrid Drive Review

Published on: notebooks.alwaiz-arts.com

What we would really like to be incorporated in hybrid drives is the flash component becoming a much larger piece of the cake than the current 256MB in Momentus 5400 PSD, perhaps 2 to 4GB.

Offering a high capacity, easily portable, and with a shelf life that other PC components should envy, Iomega's new 70GB Rev disks have plenty going for them. Maxtor 300 GB Internal Hard Drive Reiview

Published on: bayreviews.com

As expected there were lots of items on sale the day after Christmas and one of them was this Maxtor 300GB hard drive. The regular retail price for this hard drive is about 200 bucks, and yesterday I purchased it for about 80 dollars after rebates. If you go to CompUSA.com and type in "Maxtor 300" you will see this drive for $79.99. But just did not want to get another internal hard drive; in fact, I wanted an external for my backup needs. So I bought one of those internal to external converter kits by Acomdata for $50 and I was ready to go for half the price of retail external drivers.

Anthology Solutions Yellow Machine Terabyte Storage Appliance Review

Published on: xyzcomputing.com

"This review will be taking a look at Anthology Solutions' Yellow Machine P400T Terabyte Storage Appliance. That's right, a terabyte storage appliance. This may seem like a lot for the consumer or even SOHO level user, but if the data storage industry has shown us anything, its that you cannot have too much reliable storage space. Does the average user need a terabyte or more of storage? Probably not, but once you factor in use by a business or a power user who needs data available on multiple systems at once or is doing something very storage intensive, like editing video, a solution like this one starts making a great deal of sense. It houses up to four 3.5" hard drives but is much more than just an enclosure, it has an extensive feature set which enables it to do things that would normally be done on a data server, not just a storage device."

Samsung SpinPoint MP0804H Hard Drive

Published on: overclockersonline.com

"The Samsung MP0804H has certainly gone through a lot and it shined in its tests. When used as an external unit, its faster than NAS units and has a lot more capacity than typical flash drives. As an internal drive, I felt an immediate rejuvenation in performance."

Seagate Technology 5GB Pocket Hard Drive Review

Published on: the-gadgeteer.com

"There are so many reasons why having a portable hard drive makes sense, but finding the one that fits your needs - or your wallet - is not always a simple thing to do."
