How ReviewFinder Works

ReviewFinder is a community-run blog, meaning that any member of the community (any registered user) can add links. The success of this community relies on the participation of its members, so we encourage anyone to add links to any review, keeping in mind the following simple rules:

• Only links to reviews should be added. Don't link to a blog post that links to a review. Deep-link directly to the review page.
• Don't link to press releases, storefronts, product specifications, new product announcements or anything else that is not a review.
• Don't spam. Any blatant spam attempts will have the link removed and the member that posted it will be banned without warning.

How to add reviews

It's pretty simple, just navigate to the category that best fits the review you're posting, and click on the [Add a Review] link at the top of the center column. You'll be presented with a form into which you can copy and paste the title, URL, and an optional brief description/summary. If there is no category for what you want to add, go to the home page and add your review from there. It will appear in the "recently added" page, but will not appear in a category page until an administrator creates a category for it. That could take a day or two, so please be patient.

Help keep out the spam

To report a link that is not in the right category or is not a review, simply click on its Remove link (only visible if you're logged in). That review will be de-listed until an administrator manually checks it, and then either re-categorizes it or deletes it, as appropriate.
