"It's no secret that the clock growth in modern x86 CPU has significantly slowed down of late. Even new cores and process technologies are of no help to manufacturers. So, it's a sad picture for sensation-mongers. But every cloud has a silver lining: instead, Intel managed to do the impossible again and launched two desktop processors, but with 2 MB L2 Cache."
