The Acer X193WB is a 19inch monitor that is capable of performing most of your daily computer tasks, however, does lack the beefy response time of newer 2ms response time models. The X193WB comes with a 5ms response time which is suitable for most fast moving images, but if you are gamer looking for a new display that will give the fastest possible picture response, then you may need to look elsewhere.

A 2ms response time and 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio makes the LG W2052TG-TF a 20inch monitor that is hard to move past. The 1680x1050 true widescreen resolution also makes for great quality gaming and video viewing. There is an intrusive startup sound which LG lists as 'pleasant' each time the monitor starts up that should be disabled out of the box, but the rest of the monitor is thoroughly worth consideration.

5ms response time LCD’s are quickly becoming outdated as we move more towards an era dominated by larger 2ms displays. The LG W2042TQ-BF provides a suitable 20.1 inch monitor for a general home office environment, but lacks some performance grunt that is required for more intensive tasks such as video playback and gaming graphics display.
